SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College women's basketball player Kacie West has been named third team All-South Region by D3Hoops.com, making her one of only three Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference players to earn All-Region honors for the 2019-2020 season.

West, a junior guard from Sulphur, Oklahoma, led the 'Roos in scoring with an average of 13.3 points-per-game while shooting 35.8% from three point range and finishing among the conference leaders in free throw percentage, knocking down 81.3% of her attempts. West, who was a first team All-SCAC pick, added 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals-per-game this season and notched 20 or more points six times, including pouring in 20 in the conference championship game to help the 'Roos capture their first ever SCAC crown.
