Frank Selected to WBCA All-Star Game

SHERMAN, Texas – Austin College women's basketball player Bryce Frank is one of 18 players across all of NCAA Division III to have been selected to compete in the inaugural Beyond Sports Women's Collegiate All-Star Game, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association has announced.

The 18 all-stars were chosen by a committee of head women's basketball coaches of NCAA Division III programs, who are also members of the WBCA. All players were nominated by WBCA member coaches.  

Frank, a senior forward from Granbury, was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year for the second straight season, making her just the seventh player in conference history to win the honor back-to-back. During the 2018-19 season, she led the SCAC in both scoring and rebounding, and finished the year tied for the national lead with 22 double-doubles. She was a 5-time SCAC Player of the Week, and was named to the D3Hoops.com Team of the Week three times, while also becoming just the fourth player in SCAC history to top 1,000 career rebounds.

The inaugural Beyond Sports Women's Collegiate All-Star Game will be played at the Cregger Center on the campus of Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, on March 16 immediately preceding the NCAA Division III women's basketball national championship game. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. ET. 

Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
