SHERMAN, Texas –Austin College women's basketball player Bryce Frank has been named to the D3Hoops.com National Team of the Week after an outstanding performance against UT-Dallas last weekend.

Frank, a senior forward from Granbury, scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in an upset victory over the No. 14-ranked Comets, hitting 9-of-16 shots from the field and 5-of-7 from the free throw line. Frank was also named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week for her strong showing. She currently leads the SCAC in scoring, rebounding, and field goal percentage.

Earlier this year Frank was named second team Preseason All-America by D3Hoops. The 'Roos also vaulted into the D3Hoops Top 25 after Saturday's win, earning a ranking of No. 19 in the nation. 

Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
