The Austin College women's basketball team found themselves knotted at 61-61 but Trinity closed the game on a 13-7 run to hand the 'Roos a 74-68 loss on Friday night in San Antonio. The 'Roos fall to 10-12 overall and 5-7 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play with the loss.

Erin Riley knocked down 3-of-5 first half threes and Brianna Harvey scored eight in the first half to help Austin College head into halftime square at 34-34, and in the second half after Riley scored to tie things at 61 with 5:28 left, Trinity would use a 9-0 run to go on top 70-61 with 1:52 left to play and Austin College was unable to fight back from that margin.

Christina Kime finished with 18 points, hitting 6-of-9 shots and 3-of-4 from deep, and handed out four assists to lead the 'Roos. Riley and Harvey each finished with 14, with Riley adding six rebounds in the loss.
