The Austin College men's and women's swimming and diving teams fell to Wayland Baptist University on Friday night in Hannah Natatorium, with the men edged 77-66 while the women were topped 109-62. The 'Roos will be back in the pool tomorrow when they host the Austin College Invite.

On the men's side, the 'Roos got a win in the 200 medley relay with the team of Erik Gentzel, Josh Chanin, Amit Pullarkat, and Steven Cole finishing with a time of 1:45.55, and Gentzel also added a first place finish in the 100 yard back with a time of 58.23. Cole had a first place finish in the 200 yard free with a time of 2:02.03.

For the women, Lauren Wheeler had a strong all around showing with first place finishes in the 200 yard free and the 100 yard back with times of 2:09.39 and 1:07.15, respectively. Anne Booker added a first place finish in the 100 yard free with a time of 1:00.04 and Brette Grieder took first in the 500 free with a time of 6:52.54.
