'Roo Softball Eliminated from SCAC Tournament
The Austin College softball team saw its season come to a close on Saturday morning as the 'Roos fell to Southwestern 9-5 in the SCAC Tournament.

The Austin College softball team saw its season come to a close on Saturday morning as the 'Roos fell 9-5 to Southwestern University in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament. The 'Roos fell short in what would have been a spectacular comeback, scoring five runs in the bottom of the seventh after falling in a 9-0 hole heading into their final at bat.
Heather Farquhar went 2-for-4 with four RBI and Charlotte Trudell went 3-for-4 in the loss. The 'Roos finish the year with a record of 13-29.
