
Seven From 'Roo Men's Water Polo Earn MPSF All-Academic
SHERMAN, Texas - Seven members of the Austin College men's water polo team have been named MPSF 6-8 Sports All-Academic Scholar-Athletes, the league office has announced.
SHERMAN, Texas - Seven members of the Austin College men's water polo team have been named MPSF 6-8 Sports All-Academic Scholar-Athletes, the league office has announced.
In order to be honored as a 6-8 Sports All-Academic Scholar-Athlete, a men's water polo player must meet the following criteria:
- 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average.
- Student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically.
- Student-athlete must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is being received.
- Student-athlete must have competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition in the student-athlete's respective sport.
Among those honored for Austin College were Nicholas Bates, a junior kinesiology major; Gabriel Daniels, a junior computer science and math major; Andrew Galt, a senior business administration major; Greyson Gaworecki, a sophomore political science and computer science major; Jacob Johnson, a junior business administration and kinesiology major; Nicholas Ruggiero, a junior chemistry major; and Aidan Wade, a junior kinesiology major.
