
Seven From Water Polo Earn All-MPSF

Andrew Galt and Aidan Wade were named first team MPSF East, while Sebastian Scheier, Greyson Gaworecki, and Caleb Maddox were second team selections and Adrian Halberg and Nic Ruggiero were honorable mention picks.
Galt, a senior center from Southlake, earned first team recognition following a campaign in which he scored nine goals while adding nine assists and 21 assists, and also finished among the MPSF leaders for both the East and West Divisions with 43 earned exclusions.
Wade, a junior attacker from Flower Mound, paced the 'Roos with 32 goals this season on his way to earning first team status, adding 10 assists and 16 steals in 17 games played. Wade finished the regular season with a shooting percentage of 46.4%.
Scheier, a sophomore center from La Palma, Calif., was a second team pick after finishing second among the 'Roos with 28 goals scored with a shooting percentage of 62.2%, adding 19 steals and 25 earned exclusions.
Gaworecki, a sophomore attacker from Seabrook, earned second team All-MPSF East honors after tallying 20 goals on the year while finishing second on the team with 14 assists. He also added 13 steals during the regular season.
Maddox, a freshman goalie from Mesquite, rounds out the second team selections after finishing the regular season with 58 blocks in 12 games played, adding six steals and five assists while surrendering just 48 goals on the year.
Halberg, a freshman attacker from New York, N.Y., was named honorable mention MPSF East after leading the 'Roos with 16 assists, adding 13 goals and 13 steals during the course of the regular season.
Ruggiero, a junior center defender from San Juan Capistrano, Calif., was another honorable mention selection following a year in which he scored 19 goals and was second on the team with 25 steals for the 'Roos.
