Men's Tennis Earns ITA Academic Honors

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association is proud to announce the 2020 Division III Men ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Teams. Academia is a key aspect of the college tennis experience. Collegiate tennis players add to the rich intellectual community found on college campuses across the nation.

Among those earning this distinction were Austin College players PJ Cabato, Safe Rahman, Travis Fortune, Siddharth Kortikere, Calum Robe, Preston Spivey, and Tate Nelson. In addition to their individual honors, the Austin College men's tennis team was named as an ITA All-Academic Team for their collective academic success.

Our student-athletes continue to exceed expectations in the classroom and on the court. In 2020, 958 Division III Men student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and 125 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
