#33 Pioneers Best Austin College 8-1

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Austin College Kangaroos fell 8-1 in their third match in 3 days against Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.

  While doubles went decisively to the Pioneers, two Kangaroos split-sets against their opponents at Lines 3 and 4.  Calum Robe took the 2nd set from Ramez Attia, but fell 6-2, 2-6, 10-3 in a super-tiebreaker once the match had reached a decision.

  The other highlight of the day came from first-year Andres Padilla as he won 4-6, 7-5, 10-5 against Brendan Barrows at Line 3.  Erik Meendsen pushed Hindle to a 7-5, 6-2 decision at Line 5, but Lines 1, 2, and 6 went decisively to the hosts Lewis & Clark.

  Austin College returns to competition later today against #34 George Fox University at Tualatin Hills Athletic Club in Beaverton, Oregon at 4:00PM.
