The Austin College men's tennis team fell 5-0 to Southwestern in the 5th/6th place match at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament on Saturday. The 'Roos finish the season with an overall record of 4-16 and a sixth place finish in the SCAC.
Southwestern opened play by sweeping doubles action, with the number one team of Adam Dokos and Cedric Ambulo and the number two team of Jack Kunde and James Taylor both falling by scores of 8-2. Nick Diaz and David Smith fell 8-4 playing flight three doubles.
In singles action, Dokos fell 6-0, 6-0 in number one singles and Ambulo fell 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 to clinch the win for the Pirates.
