Men's Tennis Tops Dallas Baptist in Spring Opener

The Austin College men's tennis team started the spring season off strong on Wednesday, topping visiting Dallas Baptist 6-3 to earn the victory.

Adam Dokos and Cedric Ambulo led the way for Austin College, teaming to earn an 8-6 victory in flight one doubles while Dokos notched a 7-6 (4), 6-1 win in number one singles and Ambulo added a 6-4, 6-2 victory in flight two singles. David Smith added a 6-4, 2-6, 10-5 win in flight five singles and Jack Kunde won 6-3, 6-0 in number six singles.

The duo of Jeff Kubena and Nick Diaz also had a strong showing, cruising to an 8-1 victory in flight three doubles.
