Men's and Women's Swimming Fall at Southwestern

Lexy Hulse earned a first place finish in the 100 breastsroke for the Austin College women, coming in with a time of 1:15.22, giving her a seven second cushion over the next closest finisher. Lola Barcus-Schafer added a second place finish in the 50 freestyle, touching with a time of 28.01, and Hulse added another first place finish in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:44.80. Theo Rogers earned first place points for the men in that same event, finishing with a time of 2:30.13.
Joslyn Dimitri picked up second place points in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:08.83, and on the men's side, Alex Lai also had a second place finish with a time of 57.83. Tatyana Arizmendi gave the 'Roo women another win in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:24.75, and Tim Smith came in second in that event on the men's side, touching with a time of 2:16.11. Dimitri added a third place finish in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 12:03.54, and Smith gave the 'Roos second place points in that event on the men's side, finishing at 11:26.36. Lai added third place points in the 200 freestyle on the men's side, finishing in 1:58.68, and Rogers was second in the men's 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.91, coming in ahead of teammate Tyler McDermott, who picked up third place points with a time of 1:08.02.
