SHERMAN, Tex. - The Austin College Men's Swimming and Diving Team hosted the Southwestern University Pirates in their home opener this Saturday.

  While the Pirates would come away with the victory in the dual meet 197.5 - 70.5, several Men's Swimming and Diving representatives would post impressive results.

  Parker Adams would tie for first place in the 3-meter diving competition, the lone 1st place finish for the 'Roos.

  Tyler Brown took 2nd place in the 50-meter and 200-meter freestyle events, Amit Pullarkat would finish first runner-up in the 200-meter butterfly, and Erik Gentzel was just touched-out at the wall in the 200-meter backstroke.

  The loss drops the 'Roos to 1-1 (1-1) on the year, and their next meet is at home this Saturday, November 14th, in a double-dual against St. Gregory's and Colorado College.  First event starts at 12:00pm.
