Wear Named SCAC Offensive Player of the Week

SUWANEE, Ga. - Austin College men's soccer player Pierce Wear has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week after an oustanding performance in the team's conference-opening win, the league office has announced.

Wear, a junior midfielder from North Richland Hills, had a big game for Austin College as the 'Roos opened conference play with a convincing 3-0 win over Dallas, tallying twice, including what would prove to be the game-winner in the team's lone match of the week. On the season, Wear is now tied for third in the SCAC with five goals and sits fifth in the league with 11 total points.
