SUWANEE, Ga. - Austin College men's soccer players Louis Catchpole and Pierce Wear each received Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference postseason recognition for their outstanding play in 2022, the league office has announced. Catchpole was named honorable mention All-SCAC while Wear was named to the All-Freshman Team.

Catchpole, a sophomore forward from Friendswood, earned All-SCAC honors for the second year in a row after scoring four goals and adding two assists for a total of 10 points in 14 games this season. He led the 'Roos in goals scored and points, and was tied for the team lead with his two assists. 

Wear, a freshman midfielder from North Richland Hills, was named to the SCAC All-Freshman Team after wrapping up his debut season with three goals, good for second on the team, as well as an assist. Wear's seven total points ranked him third on the team in the 2022 campaign.
