Men's Soccer Drops Road Match at Colorado College

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Austin College men's soccer team fell in a 3-0 hole in the opening half and was unable to mount a second half comeback, ultimately falling 5-0 at Colorado College in the first Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match of the year for the 'Roos. Austin College is now 0-6 overall and 0-1 in SCAC play.

Colorado College dominated possession from the start, out-shooting the 'Roos 19-4 in the opening half and winning seven first half corner kicks. The Tigers got on the board twice before the 20 minute mark of the opening half, with Gabe Kellman talling in the 13th and 19th minutes to make it 2-0 early. Mason Davis would score at the 43:13 mark to send the 'Roos into halftime trailing 3-0.

Rami Maher scored just under five minutes into the second half to make it a 4-0 deficit, and Will Bavier scored 66 minutes into the match to make it a 5-0 final score. Connor Tullis made nine saves for Austin College, as the Tigers out-shot the 'Roos 33-6 in the match.
