It was a defensive battle throughout the night between the 'Roos and the Gents, but Centenary managed to get on the board in the 21st minute of action and that would end up being enough. Centenary dominated the offensive action in the opening half, out-shooting the 'Roos 13-to-2 in the first 45 minutes, while the second half saw Austin College close that gap, with the Gents holding a 9-to-7 shot advantage after the break.

Connor Tullis made 10 saves in his first collegiate action for Austin College. The 'Roos are back in action on Sunday as they travel to Houston to take on St. Thomas with kickoff scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
