Big Second Half Propels 'Roos Past Gents

SHREVEPORT, La. - Austin College scored all four of its goals after halftime in a 4-0 victory over Centenary College on Tuesday night, bringing the team's overall record to 3-2-2 and conference mark to 2-2-1.

Neither team was able to find the net in the first half as the teams played through a downpour, with Owen Osagiede finally breaking through on assists from Phillip Le and Juan Ramirez in the 53rd minute of action. The rain continued and after a lightning delay, the 'Roos and Gents were forced to relocate the game to another field due to unplayable conditions, with the game picking up about an hour after Osagiede's game-winner.

Le scored on a feed from Ramirez in the 57th minute to make it 2-0 and added his second tally of the game seven minutes later on an assist from Ben Sloan, while Ramirez found the net himself in the 70th minute to make it a 4-0 final. Austin College held a 21-7 shot advantage in the match, with Joseph Khalaf making three saves for Austin College to earn the clean sheet.
