The Austin College men's soccer team dropped a tough 1-0 contest against host school Centre College in their second match at the Centre College Alumni Classic on Friday night. The 'Roos are now 1-1 after finishing second at the tournament.
After a scoreless first half, Centre broke through with a goal in the 51st minute in a tightly contested match. Both teams mustered 11 shots in the game, and Joseph Khalaf made four saves in net for Austin College.
Khalaf, along with Levin Dyson and Garrett Matacale, were named to the All-Tournament team for their outstanding efforts over the course of the two day event. The 'Roos will return to the pitch on Friday for both their home and Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference opener as they host Centenary College.
