Texas Lutheran scored three times in the first 16:13 and Austin College was never able to answer, as the 'Roos fell 3-1 on Sunday afternoon in Seguin. The 'Roos fall to 4-10-1 overall and 2-7 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.
Texas Lutheran's Isaac Lopez found the net just over six minutes into the game, and scored again five minutes later to put the Bulldogs on top 2-0 early. Just five minutes later, Lalo Ramirez tallied to put the Bulldogs ahead 3-0, and that would remain the score heading into halftime.
Not long after the break the 'Roos finally got on the board when Jack Wheaton found Thomas Quick for Quick's fifth goal of the season in the 52nd minute, but Austin College was unable to find any more offense in the two goal loss. TLU and Austin College each fired 13 shots in the match.
