Trinity Uses Big Second Half to Drop 'Roo Men's Soccer

The Austin College men's soccer team fell 7-0 at Trinity on Sunday after the Tigers exploded for six second half goals to put the game away after a close first half. The 'Roos are now 2-6-1 overall and 2-3 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

Trinity tallied in the 21st minute to grab a 1-0 lead, and that remained the score through halftime. However, the Tigers added another goal in the 56th minute and then scored twice in under two minutes later in the half to make it 4-0. Trinity would score three more times in the game's final 11 minutes to put things out of reach.

Andrew Celio made eight saves as the 'Roos were out-shot 31-9 in the game.
