'Roo Men's Soccer Drops Heartbreaker to Trinity in Double OT
The Austin College men's soccer team took undefeated Trinity, the No. 3 team in the nation and top seed in the SCAC Tournament, to double overtime but a late goal lifted the Tigers past the 'Roos.

The Austin College men's soccer team gave all No. 3 ranked Trinity it could handle but a goal in the 108th minute of action gave the Tigers a 1-0 win over the 'Roos in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament on Saturday evening.
Austin College put forth a stalwart defensive effort against the top seeded Tigers, with Andrew Celio making 12 saves to anchor a defense that kept Trinity scoreless through regulation and nearly two full overtime periods despite the Tigers owning a 39-to-6 shot advantage. The 'Roos also played a man down for the final 26 minutes of the match.
