
Hudgins Named Academic All-District
SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College men's basketball player Jordan Hudgins been selected as a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District pick for his outstanding performance both athletically and academically. This is the second year in a row Hudgins has earned this recognition.
SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College men's basketball player Jordan Hudgins been selected as a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District pick for his outstanding performance both athletically and academically. This is the second year in a row Hudgins has earned this recognition.
Hudgins, a junior forward from Wiley, was named an Academic All-District selection on the strength of a 3.77 grade-point-average with a major in psychology, as well as appearing in all 25 games this season for the 'Roos, finishing among the team leaders in rebounds and assists.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes men's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
