Jackson Rennie knocked down 7-of-12 from long distance on his way to a game-high 27 points, and Kidus Getenet came off the bench to add 20 points and eight rebounds. Austin College dished out 26 assists as a team, with Price Bradley handing out a game-high nine to go along with 15 points and five steals. Five players hit double-digits in scoring for Austin College, with Ethan Pearce scoring 14 points and adding six assists, four rebounds, and a blocked shot, and Ocie Berry chipping in 10 points and five boards.
Austin College poured in 53 first half points, jumping out to an 11 point lead at the break, and after the Warriors pulled to within five at 83-78 with just under seven minutes to play, Austin College held off the comeback attempt to close strong and earn the win.
Austin College led for almost the entire duration, and had a 31-to-21 edge in points off of the bench in the win. The 'Roos also out-rebounded the Warriors 36-to-29 in the win, including 10 offensive boards compared to just six for Hendrix. The 'Roos were also 18-of-22 from the free throw line, while the Warriors went 14-of-16. Beau Kronenberger led Hendrix with 18 points, and Tyler Deithloff came up just short of a triple-double with 16 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists.
