
Hogan, Goodman Named to NABC Honors Court
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Austin College men's basketball players Kam Hogan and Chanston Goodman have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches 2020-21 Honors Court for their outstanding performance in the classroom, the organization has announced.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Austin College men's basketball players Kam Hogan and Chanston Goodman have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches 2020-21 Honors Court for their outstanding performance in the classroom, the organization has announced.
Hogan, a senior guard from Memphis, was a four-year letterwinner for the 'Roos, finishing his playing career with 938 points and 220 assists. Goodman, a junior guard from Dallas, enters his senior season as a three-year letterwinner who has appeared in 53 games so far in his time at Austin College. Hogan graduated with a degree in Business Finance, while Goodman is currently pursuing that same major.
In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. The qualifications are as follows:
- Academically a junior or senior and a varsity player.
- Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2020-21 academic year.
- Students must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution.
- Member of a NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I institution with a NABC member coach.
