Ozarks shot 68% from the field in the second half en route to their 57-point outburst, knocking down 4-of-6 from deep and adding 19 made free throws. The 'Roos tried to keep pace with 44 points, but it was not enough to overcome a 31-26 halftime deficit. Tristan Dick came off the bench to score a career-best 16 points, knocking down 7-of-12 shots. Dick did most of his damage in the second half, scoring 11 points after the break.
Justice Mercadel was the only other 'Roo to reach double figures, scoring 13 points and adding five rebounds and three assists, while Kameron Hill and Luke Brumbaugh each chipped in nine points. Austin College led just once in the game at 7-4, but managed to keep things close until midway through the second half when the Eagles pushed the lead into double digits.
The 'Roos are off until December 14, when they'll get another shot at the Eagles with Ozarks coming to Hughey Gym for a 4:00 p.m. game.
