The Austin College men's basketball team saw its season come to an end with a 93-83 overtime loss to Colorado College in the SCAC Semifinals in Shreveport on Saturday. The 'Roos finish the year with an overall record of 16-11.

The game was tightly contested throughout, with a Brian Baehl basket just before halftime making it a 37-36 Colorado College lead at halftime. The 'Roos led by as much as six late, with a bucket from Sullivan making it a 73-67 game with 2:32 left to play. However, things started to take a turn as foul trouble for the 'Roos began to mount. Stephen Igbinosa fouled out with just under three minutes remaining, and Sullivan followed a minute later.

Colorado College came back to square things at 76-76 at the end of regulation, and with two of their starting five on the bench to start the overtime period, soon to be joined by starting forward Austin Freet, who fouled out in the extra time, the 'Roos were unable to keep up with the Tigers. Colorado College out-scored Austin College 17-7 in the overtime period.
