Men's Hoops Falls to John Carroll

Jeremy Swisher poured in 25 points and Ransom Okpala had a double-double, but the Austin College men's basketball team were unable to overcome a nine point halftime deficit in a 90-76 loss to John Carroll on Sunday in Memphis.

Jeremy Swisher poured in 25 points and Ransom Okpala had a double-double, but the Austin College men's basketball team were unable to overcome a nine point halftime deficit in a 90-76 loss to John Carroll on Sunday in Memphis. The 'Roos are now 4-4 overall with the loss.

Swisher hit 9-of-21 shots, including three threes, on his way to 25 points and added eight rebounds and three assists. Okpala added 14 points, 12 rebounds, and two assists, and Kevin Graham scored 12 points and handed out a team-best four assists in the loss. Austin College turned the ball over 23 times in the game and shot 32.3% from the field in the loss.
