Swisher's 26 Lead Men's Hoops to Win over Ozarks

Led by a 26 point, 10 rebound effort by Jeremy Swisher, the Austin College men's basketball team topped Ozarks 89-84 to improve to 2-0 on the year. The 'Roos will be looking to stay perfect when they face St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in Irving.

The 'Roos trailed 46-38 at halftime, but hounded Ozarks into 14 second half turnovers and just 40.7% shooting, and Swisher scored 14 of his game high 26 to get the win. As a team, the 'Roos knocked down 11 three pointers for the game, including a 4-of-8 performance from Swisher.

Kevin Graham added 15 points and Alan Sullivan added 12 and nine boards. Ransom Okpala and Jordan Hancock each scored 11, with Okpala adding four steals and Hancock handing out four assists. Brian Baehl came off the bench to dish out a game-high seven assists.
