Dygert Named SCAC Defensive Player of the Week

SUWANEE, Ga. - Austin College linebacker Brady Dygert has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week following an oustanding performance in the final game of his career with the 'Roos, the league office has announced.

Dygert, a senior from Magnolia, had a monster game in Saturday's Homecoming win over Lyon which resulted in a 31-21 victory for the 'Roos. Celebrating his Senior Day, Dygert recorded 18 tackles, forced a fumble, and had a pass breakup. It was his sixth game this year with at least 13 tackles, and he finishes the season with 122 stops, moving him into fifth place all-time in SCAC history for single-season tackles.
