
44 From 'Roo Football Earn Academic All-Conference
DALLAS, Texas – The American Southwest Conference has released its Academic All-Conference teams, and 44 members of the 'Roo football program have earned All-Academic accolades in the team's final year as an affiliate member of the ASC.
DALLAS, Texas – The American Southwest Conference has released its Academic All-Conference teams, and 44 members of the 'Roo football program have earned All-Academic accolades in the team's final year as an affiliate member of the ASC.
To be eligible for ASC Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must have been in attendance and completed at least one academic year (two consecutive semesters) at their institution. They must also have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average after the spring semester.
Among those honored for their academic prowess were Trey Adams, John Aldridge, Bam Bennett, Ryan Bogenreif, Grayson Brautigam, Pablo Cantu, Nick Chevalier, Jeremiah Contreras, Michael Cress, Evan Dennis, James Drenner, and Brady Dygert. Also earning Academic All-Conference were Joshua Eckert, Scott Frisbie, Seth Fulenchek, Hunter Fulton, Tim Gauthier, Nick Giambalvo, Texas Gordon, Cam Hammond, Michael Hare, Garin Kisinger, Javan Lopez, and Sebastian Loredo-Awmiller.
Other 'Roos to be recognized with this honor were Dakota Lowery, John-Michael Mata, Dauvo McDonald, Kaden McFarland, Ben Meraz, Jason Miao, Colin Mushinski, Jack Nelson, Jarrett Pleasant, Eliel Sandoval, Kollin Shumate, Tyeson Smith, and Grayson Stacey. Rounding out Austin College's All-Academic honorees were Daniel Terry, Trevor Timmerman, Kellen Vickery, Matthew Vorderbruggen, Josh Vreeland, Chris Walstad, and Caleb Williams.
