MT. BERRY, Ga. - The Austin College football team fell 55-28 on the road at No. 20-ranked Berry College on Saturday, bringing the team's record to 5-5 overall and 4-4 in Southern Athletic Association play to wrap up the season.

Colt Collins amassed more than 350 yards of total offense and set a new program record for passing yards in a single season with 2,280 in his senior campaign, throwing for 190 yards and rushing for 172 more in the loss. Collins also scored three touchdowns on the ground and threw for another. The 'Roos and Vikings found themselves all square at 7-7 in the first quarter after Berry returned an interception for a touchdown, followed by a 1-yard touchdown plunge by Collins later in the quarter.

However, Berry would score 31 unanswered to take a 38-7 lead before Collins found Maika Brinkerhoff from eight yards out to make it a 38-14 game. Berry would tack on a field goal just before halftime to make it 41-14 at the break.

Austin College scored in a hurry coming out of the locker room to start the third quarter as Collins raced 50 yards for a touchdown to make it 41-21, but Berry answered with a touchdown to keep it a four score game four minutes later. The 'Roos would get on the board once more as Collins broke another long touchdown run, this time from 47 yards out to make it 48-28 but that's as close as things would get the rest of the way as the Vikings found the endzone one more time in the fourth quarter to make it a 55-28 final.

Collins completed 22-of-39 passes to get his 190 yards, and rushed 23 times with an average of 7.5 yards-per-carry. Maika Brinkerhoff had nine catches for 52 yards and Kai Brinkerhoff added seven grabs for 69 yards, while Regan Wilkins led the 'Roos with six tackles.
