DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Austin College cheer team performed well on Saturday in the finals at the 2024 NCA Nationals, placing fourth out of 10 teams in the Spirit Rally Open Division.

The 'Roos finished with a score of 84.675 with zero deductions, coming in just behind Thiel College, which scored 86.0215 in the event. Penn State Behrend took the top spot with a score of 92.025, and UT-Dallas placed second with a score of 87.6. Austin College came in ahead of Western Oklahoma State in fifth, while Mid-America Nazarene was sixth. Tufts, Central College, Rochester Institute of Technology, and Alvernia University rounded out the 10 teams competing in the division.
