Three From 'Roo Baseball Earn All-SCAC

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Austin College baseball players Jake Webster, Scott Hosmer, and Mason Woodhouse were tabbed as All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference performers for their outstanding 2022 seasons, the league office has announced.

Webster, a senior shortstop from Rockwall, was a second team All-Conference performer after finishing the season with a .313 batting average, as well as a .385 on-base percentage and a slugging percentage of .422. Webster had six doubles, a triple, and a pair of home runs and drove in 23 runs while scoring 29 more.

Hosmer, a freshman third baseman from Charlotte, N.C., batted .309 with a .455 slugging percentage on his way to being named honorable mention All-SCAC. Hosmer had six doubles and belted three home runs, totaling 24 runs batted in and 13 runs scored to go along with a .350 on-base percentage. 

Woodhouse, a freshman second baseman from Castle Rock, Colo., was another honorable mention All-Conference pick after hitting .321 in his first season with the 'Roos. Woodhouse had a .450 slugging percentage and a.384 on-base percentage, finishing the season with four doubles, two triples, and two homers. He drove in 17 runs and scored 13.
