SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College baseball team fell 18-4 to visiting LeTourneau University on Tuesday, as the Jackets plated 12 runs in the third to blow things open and hand the 'Roos the loss. Austin College is now 0-3 overall on the year.

After a pair of scoreless innings, LeTourneau exploded for 12 runs in the third, with 10 of those runs coming after Austin College had already recorded two outs. Brant Stuber launched a two-run homer to cap off the four run inning, making it 17-4 heading into the seventh.

Ryan Culp absorbed the loss for Austin College, surrendering eight runs on five hits in 2.2 innings of work. Seven different 'Roos picked up one hit apiece, with Stuber going 1-for-2 with two RBI, also drawing a walk in the game.
