This Week in Kangaroo Athletics

The 'Roos are headed out on the road this weekend, with the Austin College women's water polo, baseball, and softball teams taking on conference opponents on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The No. 5-ranked women's water polo team will be looking to continue its winning streak as they head to Pennsylvania for a quartet of games, starting with three on Friday and finishing with one more contest on Saturday. The 'Roos get into the pool against Grove City at 8:00 a.m. on Friday morning, and will then take on Connecticut College at 10:20 a.m. They'll wrap up the day against Wheaton (Mass.), with that game set to begin at 2:20 p.m. The 'Roos will return to action on Saturday morning, taking on Washington & Jefferson at 8:00 a.m. All times listed are Eastern.

'Roo baseball is headed to Austin this weekend, where the 'Roos will take on Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent Concordia in a trio of games, with the first scheduled to be played Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. Austin College will wrap up the series on Saturday, with a doubleheader set to begin at noon.

Finally, the Austin College softball team heads to Abilene this weekend to take on McMurry, starting with a 7:00 p.m. game on Saturday evening. The 'Roos and War Hawks will be back on the diamond on Sunday for a SCAC doubleheader with first pitch scheduled for noon.
