This Week in Kangaroo Athletics

Four of Austin College's spring sports will be in action this weekend, as the 'Roo baseball and tennis teams will be hitting the road to take on Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference opponents while the softball team plays host to a nationally-ranked squad in a three-game home series on Friday and Saturday.

The 'Roo baseball team will be the first to play this weekend, as they hit the field at 6:00 p.m. on Friday for a game at Texas Lutheran to kick off their weekend series. The 'Roos and Bulldogs will wrap up their three-game set on Saturday in Seguin, with first pitch of the conference doubleheader scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

The Austin College softball team will also be taking on TLU, as the 'Roos welcome the No. 9-ranked Bulldogs to Sherman High for a trio of contests. First up is a 7:00 p.m. game on Friday evening, and the two teams will finish up on Saturday with a twinbill set to start at noon.

The 'Roo men's and women's tennis teams will be in action on Saturday as well, heading down highway 75 to square off against the University of Dallas. Those SCAC matches are currently scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. in Irving.
