This Week in Kangaroo Athletics

Another busy weekend for Austin College athletics is coming up, with the 'Roo baseball and softball teams headed out on the road while the men's and women's tennis teams are home for a pair of matches on Saturday.

The 'Roo baseball team is headed to Kerrville for a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference series starting on Friday evening, as they take on Schreiner University that afternoon at 2:00 p.m. They'll wrap up the series on Saturday, taking on the Mountaineers in a doubleheader set to begin at noon.

The Austin College softball team is traveling to Kerrville to take on Schreiner in a SCAC series as well, with their first pitch on Friday scheduled for 6:00 p.m., before getting back on the diamond Saturday at noon for a doubleheader against the Mountaineers.

The men's and women's tennis teams are home this weekend, hosting McMurry University at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, and they'll be back on the courts on Saturday evening against Sul Ross at 5:30 p.m. Those match times are subject to change with the potential for inclement weather currently in the forecast.
