Sadler Named Modern Woodmen Student-Athlete of the Week
SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo volleyball player Rachel Sadler.
SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo volleyball player Rachel Sadler.
Sadler, a sophomore from Princeton, has gotten the season started strong and was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Austin College Classic. Sadler, an outside hitter for the 'Roos, notched double-digits in kills twice during the AC Classic, with a high of 12 coming in a 3-0 win over Lakeland University. So far this season, she's averaging 2.08 kills-per-set and has totaled 79 kills, and also has 11 total blocks and 20 digs on the year.
