SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2023 fall term and 51 Ausitn College student-athletes made the list. To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference.

Among those honored were men's soccer players Joshua Campbell, Louis Catchpole, Jose Cerda, Pedro Echeverria, Daniel Gomez, Josue Gonzalez, Kyle Nimon, Jorge Pineda, Ben Schrib, Sam Spencer, and Michael Valencia. Also representing men's soccer were Samuel Vazquez, Hector Vergara, Pierce Wear, and Will Woulfe.

From women's soccer, players who earned Academic Honor Roll status were Emma Boehmke, Miranda Countryman, Sarah Davis, Amy Delgado, Heather Foster, Vyla Gammer, and Tanya Gonzalez, as well as Rebekah Gutierrez, Brittany Hutton, Kaya Jansen, and Kenedie Lane. Also earning this recognition were Ranee Levasseur, Myles McGaha, Layla Mireles, Elyssa Nelson, Sage Newton, Hannah Oberbeck, Paulina Porter, Natalie Quiros, Emeri Watson, and Amanda Zyla.

Rounding out Austin College's group of student-athletes to make the Academic Honor Roll were volleyball players Riley Abernethy, Shelby Brent, Selah Coleman, Mattie Duncan, TJ Folse, Samantha Graham, Abby Henderson, Alyssa Holloway, Jazmyn Kizziar, Madison Manning, Taylor Nemeth, Rachel Sadler, Catherine Stepaniak, Tatum Torres, and Brianne Tseng.
