SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo men's water polo player Cade Griffith.

Griffith, a senior attacker from Oak Brook, Illinois, scored 19 goals in four games as the 'Roos went 3-1 over the weekend. Griffith twice tallied six goals, including putting six in the back of the cage on Senior Night in a dominant 25-7 win over Penn State-Behrend. He wrapped up the weekend with four goals in a 22-8 win over Connecticut College, three against Augustana in a 14-10 loss, and six more in a 12-8 win over Washington & Jefferson.
