SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College Athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo football player Aaron Rideaux.

Rideaux, a junior wide receiver from Beaumont, posted his second consecutive 10-reception game in Austin College's season ending matchup with Centre College. Rideaux hauled in 10 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown in the game, a week after catching 10 passes for 178 yards in the team's lone home game of the year against Millsaps. Rideaux finished the year as the Southern Athletic Association leader in virtually every receiving category, making 31 catches for 438 yards for an average of 109.5 yards-per-game. All of those numbers ranked him first in the SAA. For his efforts against Centre, Rideaux was named to the D3Football.com National Team of the Week.
