SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College Athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo women's tennis player Anna Sergiovanni.

Sergiovanni, a senior from Richardson, is off to a dominant start in her final season with the 'Roos, going 3-0 in singles competition in the team's first three matches while also going 2-1 in doubles action. Among her victories is a 6-1, 6-1 win at number three singles against NCAA Division II opponent Southeastern Oklahoma, as well as wins against Concordia-Texas and Texas Wesleyan. During her career at Austin College, Sergiovanni has been named All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference each year, and also serves as a member of the Austin College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
