SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College Athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo women's diver Nicole Massaro.

Massaro, a sophomore from Cedar Park, has had a tremendous start to the season for the Austin College swimming and diving team. Massaro was recently named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Diver of the Week after earning first place points in the 1-meter diving event against the University of Texas-Permian Basin. Earlier this season, she also finished second in the 1-meter when the 'Roos hosted Southwestern, and last season was eighth in the SCAC in the 1-meter event at the conference championship meet.
