A goal in the 83rd minute of the SCAC Quarterfinal match knocked Southwestern out of the SCAC Conference Tournament.

Southwestern controlled the game, taking 20 shots while AC got off just 12, but the 'Roos got the shot that mattered as Ashley Rice scored unassisted in the 83rd minute.

The Pirates weren't able to score the equalizer as the final buzzer sounded.

Katherine Rodgers had eight saves in the loss and Hayley Miesse and Krysta Maples had four shots each.

Southwestern closes the season with a  5-13-2 overall mark.
