The Austin College women's cross country team had a solid performance in the first varsity meet for the new program, placing fifth at the Centenary College Invitational on Saturday morning in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Olivia Flaggert paced the 'Roos with a fifth place finish and a time of 25:48.7, while Carina Parikh, Ashley Fitzpatrick and Jessica Carlson took 23rd through 25th places, respectively.
