SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College volleyball team improved to 8-1 overall on the year with a 3-0 sweep of visiting Huston-Tillotson University on Saturday afternoon in Hughey Gym.

The 'Roos used a balanced attack to come away with wins of 25-16, 25-17, 25-20, with Rita Araya and Mattie Duncan each getting seven kills in the victory. Duncan finished the match with a sizzling .636 hitting percentage, and added three block assists. Araya had a .455 hitting percentage with two block assists, while Victoria Smith had four kills and four total blocks. Madison Manning paced the 'Roos with 15 assists, while Brianne Tseng added nine and Caitlyn Benson had six, with Manning also coming up with seven digs. The 'Roos also got a team-best 16 digs from TJ Folse, who also had three kills in the win.
