LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Austin College women's tennis player Anna Sergiovanni has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Singles Player of the Week, the league office has announced.

Sergiovanni, a sophomore from Richardson, had an outstanding weekend playing line three singles, going 4-1 to lead the 'Roos to a 3-2 record. Sergiovanni earned a 6-0, 6-1 win against Trinity University among her four victories, as well as the clinching point in a victory over CalTech. For the season, she is 13-2, with a 10-1 record at No. 3 singles. This is the third SCAC weekly honor she's received this year, having also earned Doubles Team of the Week recognition twice earlier in the season.
