CONWAY, Ark. - The Austin College Women's Tennis Team made it two wins in a row over the Hendrix College Warriors with a 6-3 victory on Saturday.

The 'Roos got out to a strong start, leading 2-1 after doubles with 8-6 wins from White/Lide on Court 2 and Barber/Green on Court 3.

When singles play began, Austin College dropped two quick first sets on Lines 1 and 2, but Meghan White took the first set on Court 3 to keep the momentum in the Kangaroos' favor.

White's opponent would retire due to injury, and Ortiz & Weber would fall in their second sets, but the Kangaroos would sweep the next wave of three matches.  Carlye Lide and Anamariia Kheveli would clinch the win for the 'Roos on Lines 4 and 5 as Magan Green would take her 2nd set and force a super tiebreaker for the match.

Green would win 10-7 in the super tiebreaker and the Kangaroos would finish the morning at 3-4 on the season.  Austin College will return to the courts later today against the University of the Ozarks on the campus of Hendrix College at 3:00pm.
